William Tregurtha is a talented 11-year kart racer who is already making his mark in the motorsport world. Last year, just his second full season in karting, William grabbed a second and fourth place in two high-class championships at Rye House and Kimbolton, secured a podium finish at the prestigious Anglian Trophy meeting against some of the country's top drivers and picked up a string of race wins.

In 2012 William takes the huge step up from the Honda Cadet class to Rotax Minimax. These high-tech 125cc karts are adult-sized and can hit speeds around 65-70mph. He is joining the class at the earliest possible age and will race against youngsters up to 15 years old.
He will be racing for the Cutting Edge Motorsport team who are based at Rye House, Lewis Hamilton's home circuit, and have looked after William brilliantly since he started racing towards the end of 2009.
