For 29 years the British GT Championship has formed an intrinsic part of the UK’s national motorsport fabric.
British GT has established itself as the world’s foremost domestic GT series.
All the world’s top sports car manufacturers have always featured heavily in the series: Aston Martin, Audi, McLaren, Lamborghini and Bentley have underlined the championship’s international spirit.
A highly competitive field of drivers and teams from around the world supporting the infamous DTM – allowing drivers to showcase their talent to all the top manufacturers. With its German roots and huge crowds of loyal fans this is one of the finest spectacles of GT racing on offer. The battle of the big manufacturers is contested each round at German circuit favourites like Hockenheim and the Nurburgring, also travelling to Monza and Red Bull Ring to achieve a true European feel to the series.
The Nürburgring Endurance Series (formerly VLN) is the largest grassroots series in the world. It is organised by the VLN. Nine times a year, 170 race cars – from close-to-production touring cars to full-blown GT3 cars – start on the world’s most beautiful and demanding race track, the 15-mile Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Jam-packed with the best professional GT drivers on the planet – this German-based series isn’t known as the League of Super Sports Cars for nothing. Huge grids, the best race tracks in Europe and showing off most exciting GT3 machinery from manufacturers such as Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Bentley, Porsche, Lamborghini and Corvette.
The top level of GT4 racing in Europe and probably the world. Using GT4 race cars which are the younger siblings of the GT3 monsters. These cars are still blisteringly quick but are slightly closer to the manufacturers’ road cars.
Much the same as ADAC GT Masters, and on the same programme, but again using the GT4 cars.
